Retreats: slowing down and reconnecting with yourself

Step out of the daily rush. Away from constant input, obligations, and always being “on”.

 

Mettaya’s retreats offer space to slow down, go deeper, and reconnect with yourself in a safe, small-scale setting.

 

During a retreat, you consciously step out of routine and create time and space for rest, reflection, and body awareness. Mindfulness, breath, silence, and gentle movement support you in settling into your body and gaining clarity from within.

Who are these retreats for?

These retreats are suitable if you:

  • long for depth and slowing down

  • feel out of balance and want to restore

  • want to reconnect with your body and inner compass

  • need space away from daily patterns

  • are open to personal growth, without pressure

 

No prior experience with breathwork, mindfulness, or retreats is needed.

What Mettaya retreats are not

  • therapy and/or trauma-release

  • full or demanding schedules

Everything unfolds at a gentle pace, with respect for your boundaries and needs.

Approach and holding

The retreats are guided with care, safety, and attention. We work with, among other things:

  • mindfulness and body-based practices

  • meditation and visualization

  • silence, reflection, and simple rituals

  • gentle, regulating breathing

There is space simply to be, without needing to achieve anything.

  • Participation fee: € 129 (early bird) / € 149 regular

  • Small groups for personal attention

Contraindications

This retreat is not suitable if you currently have, or have had in the past:

  • epilepsy

  • serious heart or vascular problems

  • severe psychological issues

  • or if you are pregnant

 

This is not due to physically demanding exercises, but because the retreat takes place in a group setting, and certain experiences or backgrounds may require additional personal guidance.
