Corporate and team retreats
More than a team event. An experience that creates lasting impact.
Stepping away from the demands of everyday work creates space for something that is often missing: time to pause, reflect, reconnect and gain fresh perspective.
At Mettaya, we design bespoke corporate retreats that support employee well-being, leadership, personal growth and stronger collaboration.
What is a corporate retreat?
A corporate or team retreat is much more than an offsite or team-building activity. It offers the opportunity to step outside familiar routines, slow down and explore what truly supports healthy individuals and high-performing teams.
Depending on the objectives, a retreat may focus on mindfulness, leadership, well-being, creativity, resilience, silence or personal development. Every programme is carefully designed to meet the unique needs of the organisation.
Benefits of a team retreat
A retreat can help participants develop:
-
greater calm and focus
-
healthier stress management
-
increased self-awareness
-
mental resilience
-
stronger team collaboration
-
more open communication
-
greater ownership and personal responsibility
-
sustainable employee well-being
-
renewed energy, motivation and inspiration
Every retreat is co-created
During an introductory conversation, we explore the organisation’s goals, current challenges and desired outcomes. Where appropriate, individual interviews, intake conversations or a preparatory session can become part of the design process.
Many participants are new to mindfulness or meditation. That is why creating a safe, accessible and welcoming environment is an important part of every retreat. We also help organisations communicate the experience in a way that encourages curiosity rather than performance.
What to expect
No two retreats are the same. Depending on the objectives, a programme may include:
-
mindfulness practices and guided meditation
-
breathing techniques and body awareness
-
reflection exercises and visualisations
-
creative self-expression
-
mindful walking or gentle yoga
-
partner and group dialogues
-
practical insights from psychology, stress physiology and breathing science
There is nothing to achieve
A successful retreat is not about doing everything perfectly. Sometimes there is silence and sometimes there is laughter. Sometimes unexpected insights emerge. Without the pressure to perform, people often discover new perspectives, connect more authentically with themselves and others, and return with renewed clarity.

Bringing insights back to work
A retreat can be a powerful standalone experience or part of a wider development programme. It can be combined with coaching, workshops, leadership development or systemic team facilitation to help translate insights into lasting behavioural change and everyday practice.
